Infertility is diagnosed when a couple does not conceive after 12 months of regular unprotected sexual intercourse if the woman is under the age of 35, or six months if the woman is over 35 years of age.

Four essential questions that need to be answered are:

Is there a sperm problem? Is there a problem with ovulation? Can the egg and sperm fuse? Can implantation take place and be maintained?

A comprehensive investigation conducted by one of our specialists includes a series of tests called an infertility work-up, which consists of: Blood tests (both partners) Semen Analysis Surgical Procedures (when necessary) The choice of a particular procedure will depend on the cause of infertility as revealed through the infertility work-up.
